Tam Freeland's Columbus Tree Cozy

Wow!  If you want to spruce up your neighborhood trees or some downtown trees, just get out your knitting needles and yarn and have at it.  This looks GREAT!  By the way, I voted for #18.  Checkout the link in Tam's email and see all the entries and vote for the best one.

you know...there's a tree on our street with one of these on it. I just thought some kid wrapped their baby's blanket around the tree! HA! What is the site address?

They don't decorate the trees like that in Greenwood! Of course, we are known as the "hick" town.

I am going to bake Sara's latest chocolate chip recipe this week-end - Carl will be the true judge for these cookies - chocolate chip are his favorite! I am not going to tell him that it is a different recipe!!!

Hope you have a nice day!

I voted for #18 - and passed this along to friends in my address book. When I saw the pictures in the e-mail, I thought this one had to be the most unusual, but now I see that most trees in Downtown Columbus are very unusual!

Have a great week-end - stay warm - like the trees!

Chris started a new project in the house this week. redoing the bathroom upstairs. I am having sombody else do the tub area because he didn't think he could do that. He is putting in a new floor, toilet and vanity. I took the wall paper off yesterday. We are going to paint the walls this time. The wall under that paper is in pretty bad shape so he has some work to do on it to make it look ok. I forgot to take a before picture. He is going to be very busy this week-end getting as much done as possible. It will take several weeks before they can do the tub.

Hope everybody has a good week-end.

Roberta: You should send during & after pictures of your bathroom project!!! Exciting!

Barb: How were the cookies? Or I should say, Carl: How were the cookies?!

We had a blast in Norfolk with Mom & Dad & the Protzmans! THANKS everybody for your hospitality! We had an easy drive home. Now I just got home from Bunko (dice game). I'm going to bed!!!
