CHRISTMAS PUZZLE

I got some puzzles from the Protzmans and I put together one of the 4 in the box.  Here is a picture of the one I did.  Rose Ann thought it would be good to post the picture.  There were 500 little pieces.  I hate to take the puzzle apart.  I really enjoyed the challenge of putting it together.

WEll, I thought I posted a message on yesterday's blog, but I must have done something wrong!

the project looks great - always feels good to update something in the house - very rewarding, but it should be since those projects always take more time and money than you plan.

Everyone needs to come visit us - our weather has been beautiful - reached a record high of 82 degrees today!

Stan had a business trip to Chicago scheduled for today - he left Greenville this morning - got to Charlotte, and then returned to Greenville when they cancelled the Chicago flight - this is fine with me!

We moved Whitney into an apartment over the week-end - nice to get her stuff out of two bedrooms upstairs! She's enjoying classes at ECU, but was ready to get out and meet more ECU students - the apartment complex is for students only.

More later - I really enjoy this site --- Marge

I thought I posted one yesterday too. I guess we're on my dad's blacklist. : )

The puzzle looks good. That was a great gift idea.

We had great weather this morning but it's cold again here. The doctor has decided that our pink eye is a virus. The medicine wasn't working so I guess we just have to wait a few more days for it to go away on its own. We're feeling very stir crazy in our house. Tonight we're just going for a drive and getting a little starbucks treat just to get us out of the house.

Ben is traveling this weekend. First to South Carolina and then to Nebraska. I'm glad that he'll get to see you guys. They have several shows in NE this spring.

Ok, we're off to starbucks. Hope everyone stays warm!

So great to hear from you all tonight. Beth, I'm so glad to hear you're safe. Good grief! Your weather sounded awful last night.

Too funny...to think of Dad having a Black List! Roberta & I are golden with him, I guess! :)

The puzzle is cool. I like puzzles, just don't have anywhere to work on them. We would have to clean it up for every meal!

Nice for Stan to have a change of plans. Although was he going to see Amber & family? Did Chicago get nailed by snow?

Whitney...so is ECU where she was before Disney World?

I can't believe your eyes, Beth. What a pain. Did you have to go to the neighbors last night...with your red eyes?

Hope you enjoyed Starbucks! YUM! A carmel latte sounds REALLY good right now!

See ya!

Glad to hear Whitney likes ECU - I am sure that she will like her apartment also.

CJ was nominated and won the state animal lab tech of the year! He was competing with techs from Eli Lily, Purdue, and IUPUI - it would have been nice if money would of been included with the award!! He has asked for a raise - we will see if that happens.

I spoke with mom last night - they have been getting lots of rain - it has been a miserable winter.

She told me Phyllis Steinmetz died - she was 91 years old. Mom went to the visitation last night - she said she actually knew all of the kids! I haven't seen some of those "kids" in a long time.

Beth - Hope your eyes get better soon!

Not much new here - I think it is supposed to be dry today - thank goodness - but get cold this week-end. I think a visit to NC sounds very good right now!

Barb, Happy Belated Birthday. I thought of you early in the day and then forgot to send you an e mail to tell you Happy Birthday. Did you do anything exciting?

Congratulations to CJ for winning the Tech of the Year. He must be doing a good job. Hope that he gets a raise with the reward.

We have had a very mild winter so far. Guess that I shouldn't say anything yet. It is only February.

Shives, hope that you are all feeling better.

Rich and Tam, how is the move going?

Talk to everybody later.

Hope that I stay off Brian's blacklist.

I have no "Black List." I do have to option to post or not, but have never denied a posting. If you have a problem posting, it must be a cyber mystery. Ha. Not me. We have warmed up to 25 here. Wow! Get out the summer clothes. Ha. I doubt if Marge and Roberta will be soon moving to Nebraska, Minneapolis or Chicago soon. Boy, that is really a wonderful honor that C.J. got as the Indiana Animal Laboratory Technician of the Year. I hope it gets him a raise he can take to the bank. Tell him we are all very proud of him, Barb.

oh my goodness! I forgot that Rich & Tam are moving. Are they moving NOW?! I can't wait to see their lived in new house. We saw it without any walls! I'm sure we'll stop on our summer tour. We're usually passing through IN & TN the end of July-beginning of August.

CONGRATS to CJ! Wow! What an honor. Good for him. He must really like what he's doing to be doing it so well.

BARB: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! When was it?! What are you...35 now? :) My mom said she was 35 for several years, it seemed to me! I can't believe I'm approaching 40. CRAZY!

We're supposed to get a little snow the next couple days. UGH! We've had the same snow on the ground since the beginning of Nov. And we just keep adding to it.

Doug found out today that a former student died of cancer. He was close to her and has followed her journal on CarePages.com over the past year as she battled cancer. He's sad. He's going to the funeral on Sunday. She was so smart & so beautiful & so creative...such a shame that she's not a part of this world anymore & just so unfair.

We ate tomato soup & grilled cheese tonight...that's a good wintertime meal, isn't it? I need to go to the grocery store.

See you all! I love hearing from you. HAve a great night!

Sara in answer to your question - my birthday was on the 5th and I was 53 - I got a card from Grandma Freeland wishing me a happy 55th birthday!!!! That was rather depressing!

I think CJ is going to get his raise - he spoke to the HR person and she has been sending emails to the Director of the Research Facility and CJ's supervisor on his behalf! I will keep you informed.

Have a good week-end.

oh no! That's awful that Grandma gave you 2 more years!! HA! I still think of you as about 30...even though I'm 39! :) Funny how that works!
