GRAY IS OK!

Sara says:  He was great today... like NO SYMPTOMS!  I kept him home from school and postponed Maggie's party because I kept expecting the headache or fever to return... but it didn't.  The doctor said a virus just must have blasted through his body.  But, he is perfectly fine now and is not contagious in the least!  WHEW!!  Quite a switch from the nerves when they were worried he had meningitus.  YIKES!    We watched "Hairspray" tonight (that was fun).  Now Maggie, Gray and Doug are staying up late to watch "Pirates of the Caribean 3."  Her party has been rescheduled to Sunday.  Sleepover!!!   SARA

OK...I'm trying to leave a comment here. I don't know what the matter with me is! UGH! I'm not much of a techy.

We have a quiet day planned for today. Maggie & Gray have pottery this afternoon. We'll get ready for the birthday party tomorrow. We have book club tonight...we're discussing Mountains Beyond Mountains. GOOD BOOK!

Sara--I am glad to see Gray is better. When Kaleb was 16 months old he had the same thing! I was 8 months pregnant with Brock and I got home from a dr. appointment to find him in bed with 104 temp. Took him to the dr. they gave him Tylenol and a shot (to this day I have no idea what that shot was, but it worked)! He also had to get blood work done and urine--done with a cathider! That was the longest day of my life!! The next day he was fine! Kids are crazy like that! Glad everyone is better!

Beth--what happened to Ezra? Hope he is doing better!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! It is 57 today!! Jess

Glad Gray is better. Tricia and I went on a date last night and then went to the hospital to visit a family who's last name is Love and they had a baby on Valentines. Crazy! Today is basketball for Ben and a date with Matthew then dinner with the Rogers. Should be busy. I am off to a soccer coach meeting. Later.

Welcome to the Blog, Roger! Or have you been a lurker for a while?! HA! I think that term is so funny! Good for you for going out on a date on Valentines Day. Is the Norfolk Daily News going to cover the Love family & their new Valentine baby? They should!

Our bodies are complicated, aren't they? Those days at the dr. or hospital with kids are long & stressful.

I just made worms in dirt for the kids tonight. They're going to their own party while we go to book club.

I'm pleased to report that its 43 degrees here! Warmest its been in a LONG time! We have so much snow, its going to be a MESS when it all melts. But...I'll take that mess to get to spring!

See ya!
