Well, we are now 3 days into our entry stairs project We still have to use a step ladder to get upstairs, but we now have a rail upstairs.

Are you happy with the look of the banister so far?
Looks great! I love seeing the progress. I can't wait to see the finished product.
Yes, we are very happy. The steps have not been stained, but the posts have been stained yet to match the wood floor in the kitchen/hallway. He still has quite a bit of work to do; so I don't think he will be finished by this weekend. But by Wednesday evening, I think we will have steps going downstairs, so we can get rid of the ladder.
