You know now you are going to have to stain the door downstairs a lighter color. One job always turns into many!!

Oh, you would have to point that out. I guess we will live with that door for now and refinish it sometime down the road. That would be a job.

Might be easier to paint it the dark door white like the other door downstairs and like the front door. That would be easier.

You know, I should proof read my comments before I publish them.

Sounds like a lot of work - but now that you are retired you have plenty of time to refinish the door (ha!) I would say paint it to match the other doors

I vote for the white. Who wants to try to match wood stains?

But Brian has lots of time to match stains.!! I would go with the white too

Yea...I think I would agree with the white door idea.

We got hit with a surprise 7" of snow last night. I've shoveled twice...and its still coming down. I love it! If its going to be cold, then it might as well snow & be pretty! It still is awfully cold...high of 10 today. That's the way its supposed to be all week. That's not fun.

We've had a fantastic day off today. Actually, the whole weekend has been nice. We went to a college track meet and watched our old babysitter Annie win the pentathlon. Saturday, the kids all played with friends and I finished an amazing book called Infidel (I highly recommend it -- its a memoir of a Somolian woman who is now a political activist working on behalf of equality for Muslim women). We had friends over for dinner Sunday night...and have been bums today! LOVE IT!
