Today we begin our project to replace our entry stairs. I will take before, during and after pictures so you can see what is happening. It is going to take on a whole new look.

Funny how the same stairs look different color in these pictures depending if taken from downstairs or upstairs. Must be a light thing. Allen, our contractor for this project, is here and ripping our the old hand rails, etc.
Roberta asked what next year's Christmas tree was going to look like. That is a secret. Rose Ann will just say simpler. Need any ornaments?
I am so excited for this new look! The wood floor that you picked out is going to look so rich! I'm so glad you're taking before, during & after pictures. When do you expect him to be finished?
I'm feeling so much better & more in control. I went to a friend's last night for dinner and we all had a blast. They have a bunch of kids...so the kids all ran off to play and we sat around the dining room table and enjoyed a good glass of wine. Tonight we're renting movies (5 for 5 days for $5 -- can't beat that!) and eating spaghetti & meatballs (our favorite!)
You know...you've built up this Christmas tree...the pressure is on, Mom!!
I think the Christmas tree is going to be decorated with plain ornaments all the same color. The pressure is definitely on for a very special tree.
