T-BALL IN SPARKS

I thought this was especially good to see the mountains and landscape of Sparks for those of us who have never been there.  Kaleb has a good swing!  The other picture is of Brock in the car.  Note Jessica's reflection in the door trim, taking the picture.

How is Grandma Lucy doing? Hope she is doing better.

How are the Protzman's? Are they all getting better. Hope that David got better and not worse.

Grandma Lucy has been very sick, but today she seems better. Saturday was an awful day for her. She just can't get her strength; and now she is having some heart and lung potential problems. They are keeping her again tonight. It is for sure she will not be returning home this Friday as we had planned.
Tricia's family is better. David was able to fight it, and I think the only one that needed medicine was Esther.
Brian got pink eye and it looks better now. I am afraid of getting pink eye because of the recent eye surgery.
So all-in-all, things are looking up in Norfolk, but I doubt if anyone wants to visit us again!!
The best quote came from Gertie who when she heard Grandma was sick the night before Easter said, "I am sorry you are sick, but I am happy you did not get sick on my new dress!!". Isn't that what we all think, but know it is not proper to say!.

Boy - it sounds like things have been crazy in Norfolk! I hope Grandma Lucy is better soon. At least she has her family close during this ordeal.

I just love Gertie!

Hope Brian's pink eye is better and that Rose Ann doesn't get it! Did you have on both eyes??

Hope everyone has a nice day - it looks like it is going to be rainy here.

I got "pink eye" in both eyes, one worse than the other. I have drops and it is getting better. STAY AWAY FROM ROSE ANN'S EYES! I am going over to see mother now. She has a touch of infection on her lung and they are concerned about that. Another cold, wet day here. Spring has not happened here yet.

Grandma Lucy is getting better every day. She had a follow-up visit with Dr. Birch Friday morning and got a good report. Blood work good and the chest X-ray was good, too. She is getting her appetite back and walking and doing more. I am flying back to Indiana with her Tuesday and we will check into an assisted living place so she can get her strength back. It is a nice place called "The Beehive House" and comes highly recommended. My pink-eye is much better and I am still using the drops to make sure is clears up completely. Tricia took David into the doctor again Friday as he still had a nasty cough. He got some meds and is better. Beth's Lucy came down with an all over rash, saw the doctor and is better. They are in Kentucky this weekend with Ben's parents to see them before they go back overseas. Have a good weekend.
