HAYDEN STAUSBURGER GROWING UP

Wow.  This little guy is growing up into a big boy.  Can not see much of Chris, but he is obviously a proud daddy.

Hayden is adorable!!! I love all of the pictures you are posting!

Chelsea Clinton was on campus yesterday and I went to see her speak. She is very articulate and answered difficult questions.

The Democratic candidates are suddenly interested in the Indiana primary (which is in May) - they both need delegates - usually the race is decided by the time the Indiana primary comes around.

Hope you all have a great day.

look at those curls!!! LOVE IT!!! Thanks for including pics here.

Say...I had a bad parenting moment some of you can maybe relate to. Yesterday morning, Maggie complained that her feet hurt because her size 5 shoes might be a little too small. I, of course, told her she'd be fine and to run off to school. Doug checked and said, she really does need new shoes. So, last night Maggie & I drove to Sioux City to look for shoes. LO & BEHOLD...she needed a size 8!!!! I'll say she needed new shoes. 3 shoe sizes bigger! GOOD GRIEF! I don't know how she was even walking! YIKES!

He is just adorable!!

Sara--I know what you mean. Kaleb did the same thing last summer, although I was only 2 sizes off! HAHA! We just think they never know what they are talking about!

Thank you to everyone keeping Brock in your thoughts. That means a lot to me and him! He is doing great--you would never have known that he had surgery this morning. A happy, bouncing 2 year old! Thank you again! Jess

Barb, did they ask Chelsea about her father's affair? If so, how did she answer it?

Yesterday was Hayden's birthday. He was so excited when we sang Happy Birthday but was upset when he got icing on his hands and didn't like his cake at all. We were surprised because he usually will eat anything and doesn't mind making a mess with his food.

Poor Maggie!!! Her poor little feet. Can't believe that it took her that long to complain that her shoes were getting small.

Jessica, glad to hear that Brock did well today. Keep us posted when you go back to the Dr. next week.

I guess we can't count on any hand--me-down shoes in size 6 or 7!!!
Size 8...wow! That girl's going to be tall.
I'm glad all went well with Brock. I didn't hear about it until it was over. Keep us posted on the lab results. How did you even know there was a problem??

Yea, Jess. I've been thinking about you all day today. I'm so sorry you've been under all this stress. I'm so glad to hear all went well today. We are praying that you get good results from the tests.

That's neat that you heard Chelsea Clinton speak. I'm glad to hear she's impressive. I always felt kinda sorry for her when she was in the spotlight as an awkward girl. How awful to think of her having to answer questions about her dad's choices. I'm sure she gets the questions.

I'm going CRAZY listening to the USD women's basketball game. It's tied, in over-time, in the Elite Eight championship game. Goodness!!! I'm never going to get to sleep!

Sara must have been a basket case listening to that USD Women's game. USD won in double overtime 85-80. According to the paper this morning the other team kept popping 3-pointers to tie. Wow! They play the #1 seed today in the semi-final game who, by the way, are undefeated. USD has lost only 1 game all year. Both good teams. Go Yotes (short for Coyotes)!

Chelsea was asked how her mother handled the affair -she answered it was none on their business!!! She was asked this question at Butler Univ - not at IUPUI - so I didn't hear about that question until yesterday.

Jess - hope that you receive good news soon!

I will definitely try Margie's soup - sounds good!
