MAGGIE'S RECITAL DAY

Saturday we drove up to Vermillion for Maggie's piano recital and got a few pictures, enjoying her play and the drive.  On the way up, near Vermillion, along the river in a corn field were hundreds, maybe a thousand, White Canadian Geese.  On the way home 3 hours later, they were gone on their way north.

It's so fun to see pictures up here on the blog! Marc's artwork is so neat. I'm glad our kids are artistic!

Maggie did a great job at her piano contest. She received a rating of 2 (1 is best) and had many positive comments from the judges. She enjoyed it...I think the thrill of performing was fun for her.

Doug's parents came to the contest also. They're still here. We played a hot game of Hearts after lunch.

Doug & I have book group tonight. The kids have a couple friends & a sitter coming at 7. Doug will play poker after book group.

It's cold here again. SAD! Can't wait for it to warm up again. Our snow is melting...but our yard is still covered. At least the sidewalks & our driveway are clear.

Enjoy the concert, Barb! We sure did. It was powerful.

Jess: I know what you mean when you say, we are DONE having kids! :)
