Trooper finds life is good, but boring at the Rogers home. The Protzmans took a week vacation to a family reunion in Oklahoma and Trooper boarded with us. Trooper is a good dog and very easy to care for. Here is a picture of one of Trooper's favorite places to relax, on our couch. Life is good!

I will have to try the cherry recipe. Sounds good (and easy to make - other than the cherries -ha!).
Trooper is a great dog. You are right on with the reunion thing. We have had Trooper before and when the Protzmans get home, he goes nuts with joy.
The Cherry recipe is good. In fact, I am making anothe batch as we speak. This time I managed to pit the cherries without cutting my thumb. I used a duller knife and was more careful. Also, I have learned how to pit the little buggers safely. I cut around the pit, twist apart and dig out the pit. That works for me.
