DOUG & MAGGIE IN "THE MUSIC MAN"

Rose Ann, Matthew and I drove up to Vermillion, SD, Saturday night to watch their production of the Music Man which Doug and Maggie were in.  They really put a lot into these community productions.  The set, costumes, acting and music was great.  Gray says he wants to be in a play sometime, too.  They put in countless hours on these productions and they are rewarded by good crowds.

Thank you again for driving up. Last night was the cast party and tonight is the final night of the show. It's been fun...but everyone here is TIRED! I'm going again tonight.

Doug and Maggie look like real professionals

What fun - Stan was in plays back in Hoopeston and has done one skit down here - it is very time-consuming --- I always knew the lines from lots of practice! He has joined a group that meets once a week - they are writing some kind of comedy - who knows if it will ever materialize into a public performance, but he's having fun!
Doug and Maggie look perfect for acting! Love Maggie's hair - I'm waiting for a red-headed grandchild - Tyson has some possibility, but it's not going to be the deep, true red that Maggie has.

It does take a lot of time...I'm probably more relieved than Doug that it is over! He has a lot of fun. He just started acting in Community Theatre about 3 years ago. The show was great! We're going to eat now then go to the pool.
