I got this picture from Mother showing her at the banquet getting flowers for graduating 75 years ago. Looks like she graduated when she was 16. Not me. Ha. Lucy, my mother, is on the left, with Mary Beth, Edith's daughter, in the middle, and Mother's good friend, Edith, on the right. Looks like they were having a good time. Mother is 91 and Edith is 92. Wow!

They both look so good. I hope that I look half that good if i make it to be 91. Hard to believe that Grandma Lucy was so lsick such a short time ago.
We are having a heat wave here in New Jersey. It has been close to 100 for the past 3 days and still suppose to be hot for the next few days. Marc and Brooke have lived in the pool for the past few days.
Our weather nationwide is all screwed up it seems. You are getting cooked and we are getting stormy wet and Indiana is flooding. Do you have any of those cool new water parks out your way, Roberta? We have new ones around us, but none here. A couple of bond issues for one failed. They can not show they will pay for themselves and people want to know what happens to them the 7 or 8 months that it is too cold to swim in them. One of the new ones 45 minutes South of us lost money last year. They can not find a good place for it, either. If Columbus, Indiana has one it is probably under water. Wow. They sure got hammered. The news said the Indianapolis area got 10 inches of rain in an hour and the White River went out quick. Bummer.
