We are back home and we had a wonderful time in Washington, DC, touring around seeing some of the many sights. We just really had an enjoyable time. We averaged walking about 7 miles a day. We got used to riding the Metro subway system and found it clean, inexpensive, safe and very reliable.

Glad to hear you had a good time! Did you get to see everything on your list?
We got to see everything on our list, but have a new list of more stuff to see, if we ever go back. Too much to see in a few days, even a week. Now is a great time to go before it gets hot. We missed the cherry blossoms, but that is OK. Need to go in March or April for that.
